Because Jim used his attention whoring account that people know is him. Jim is right, taking money makes you likely to sell out to the money. He knows this very well, because since he does what he does purely out of the different reward of personal satisfaction, he has completely sold out to sucking that big fat dick of satisfaction his attention whoring gets him regardless that it's tied to his character or anything he tries to do, it's just a direct stream of opiates right into his ego. I guess he ran out of video games to play because nobody is making sure they're not all shit.
It's not really wrong or anything, but it is the reason he's autistically projecting the same pattern into why anybody would even conjure up the motivation to say or do anything, because his mirror neurons for anything else have completely rotten away. It's no coincidence he keeps making new channels and pretending none of them attract the same viewership as the last one, it's exactly because it's the one way to appeal to the lowest common denominator that leaves him no other option but to do exactly that. Because there are people viewing this empty gesture as meaningful, is exactly why it still gives him his fix.
It's also why he's so defensive about being "called on" by Vau, he's trying to play for two sides. What he was originally trying to do is sneer out from the sidelines uncontested so he could say Sargon is so cucked he doesn't even defend himself, so he can sneer some more. Sargon on the other hand can barely understand that anybody can be motivated to do something this pointless, but probably has the life experience of having seen druggies and high school bullies trying to pull this obvious shit before.
Less obvious motivations include that this may have been calculated by Jim, because he did accuse Sargon of sending Vau after him. This would accomplish the goal of reminding people that it's possible that he really did, if that's what Jim does his activism for. Jim can take the hit of appearing like an attention junkie, because he's at the sweet spot where anybody smart enough to notice this would probably focus on Sargon anyway, and even if Jim is an attention junkie then that being the case he has nothing to lose. He's not tied to the risk of losing his income over it, the brave, brave Jim.
